These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and LUMEN ("LUMEN", "we", "us") governing your use of the LUMEN mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you must have your parent or guardian's permission.
2. Your Account
You may use the App without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for the activity that happens under it and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can delete your account at any time from within the App.

4. Subscriptions & Payments
LUMEN offers an auto-renewing subscription, "LUMEN Gold", with monthly and annual options. Pricing is shown in the App and may vary by region.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App; attempt to access it by unauthorized means; use it to violate any law; or use the AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, text, graphics and software are owned by LUMEN or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Content you create remains yours.
7. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services (for example, AI processing, product databases, and authentication and payment providers). We are not responsible for those services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LUMEN will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the App and its users.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LUMEN is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have where you live.
